UK government unprepared for climate crisis, say advisers

It is their harshest language yet. The government’s own advisory body on climate change has accused ministers of being shockingly unprepared for the climate crisis and failing to listen to its advice.

The Climate Change Committee says urgent action is needed right now to deal with home insulation; extreme weather events, food supply and potential power cuts.
