UK faces ‘potentially catastrophic’ risks from pandemic, soaring debt and climate change, warns fiscal watchdog

Britain faces a triple threat and “potentially catastrophic” risks from the pandemic, a soaring debt mountain and climate change, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility.

The fiscal watchdog warned that the country will face a multi billion pound spending black hole as it fights to meet these challenges.
