UK and Russia go head-to-head over Skripal affair

World leaders have backed the UK’s claim that the Salisbury Novichok attack was carried out by two Russian agents – almost certainly at the orders of the Russian government.

But at the United Nations Security Council, meeting to discuss developments in the investigation into the nerve agent attack in March, the Russians said Britain was trying to create anti-Russian hysteria.
