Welcome to Washington and the White House, where there has been some bad news for the President: a federal judge in Seattle has said he will temporarily block an executive order ending citizenship for people born in the United States.

Now taking office on Monday, President Trump promised a “Golden Age for America”.

To deliver that – he’s kept up an assault on the legacy of his predecessors, revoking legislation passed by Presidents from Lyndon Johnson to Biden.

And for all the promise of a better future, he’s spent much of his time talking about past events, particularly January 6th 2021.
