Trump defends Mexico immigration deal

Donald Trump’s threat to slap tariffs on Mexico if it didn’t stop migrants from reaching the southern border was due to begin today. Except it hasn’t. Mr Trump claims he’s pulled off a deal, and he has moved back to pressuring China again.

But while the President is busy waging future trade wars, Congress has plunged back into the past, bringing in a key Watergate witness to testify on the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the election.
