Trump calls for crackdown as disorder spreads across US after George Floyd death

Donald Trump has insisted that state governors must crack down harder and “dominate and arrest” protestors to regain control of the demonstrations engulfing cities across the US.

In a leaked conference call to the governors, the President told them they were  “weak” for their handling of the crisis, in the wake of the killing of an unarmed black man in Minneapolis by a police officer last week, which has convulsed the country in an outpouring of rage over the killing.
