Tributes paid at Great Manchester Run

Tens of thousands of people took part in the Great Manchester run today. Organisers of the annual run had been overwhelmed with people wanting to take part. It began with a minute’s silence for the victims of Monday’s terror attack, then they set off along streets packed with crowds – everyone determined to demonstrate their pride in their city.
