Earlier in the studio, Matt Frei spoke to Conservative MP Tom Tugendhat, chairman of the foreign affairs select committee, and Jean-Paul Mulot, who represents the regional government overseeing Calais.

Frei started by asking Tom Tugendhat if the £44million Britain has pledged to beef up security in Calais was too much money, as some members of the Tory party had suggested today.
