Toddler among nine migrants rescued in Channel

A three-year-old girl has been rescued from a tiny dinghy found floating in the darkness of the English Channel early this morning. The girl was discovered along with eight other people, drifting off the coast of Dover. The Kent Coastguard and Border Force carried out the rescue. It appears to be the latest in a series of dangerous crossings being attempted by migrants.
