Three more countries removed from UK’s quarantine-free list

It’s been another busy day of developments on coronavirus with new figures on NHS Test and Trace service in England released today. The latest government statistics continue to show the impact of the virus. There were 12 deaths in the last 24-hour period, giving a total number of deaths of 41,477.

There were also 1,522 new cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours, which is the highest daily total since June.
