Thousands of high street jobs at risk

A bleak midwinter period for retailers has claimed two high-profile names today as both Toys R Us and electronics chain Maplin announced they are going into administration. Between them, more than 300 stores will close, putting 5,500 jobs at risk. Two firms failing to keep up with the shift to online, or a sign of bigger problems on the high street?
