Thousands evacuated after Derbyshire dam wall partially collapses

Thousands of residents of Whaley Bridge in Derbyshire are being evacuated from the town because there are fears a dam may collapse.

The wall of the reservoir was damaged yesterday after heavy rain and severe flooding spread across the region.
