‘There’s no such thing as spending too much’ public money to save economies, says economist Mariana Mazzucato

Perhaps one of the lessons the pandemic has taught us is that the market economy has its limits, that in times of great financial peril, states have been forced to spend vast amounts of public money just to stop their economies from falling apart.
