‘There is no reason why you would inflict this situation on to care homes’ – daughter of care home resident with suspected Covid-19

Yesterday the government pledged to take action to stop the Coronavirus spreading through care homes, including more testing and more personal protective equipment for care sector staff.

Earlier Jon Snow spoke to Toula Mavridou-Messer, whose mother was moved to hospital from her care home with suspected coronavirus this morning. She told me about receiving the call from the home.
