The victims of the attack and those who tried to save them

They were mothers, fathers, schoolchildren. With just one of the victims yet to be named, more tributes have been paid, more stories told of the 22 lives cut short by Monday’s attack. In their honour people across the country fell silent at 11am this morning and several more vigils are taking place this evening.
