Texas shooting: Why did it take nearly an hour for police to enter the school?

Police in Uvalde, Texas, have been criticised for the time it took to stop 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos in the shooting that killed 19 children and two teachers.

He was reportedly in the school between 40 minutes and an hour before he was killed.
