Team doctor who abused gymnasts to be sentenced

The last accounts from US gymnasts who were abused by their team doctor have been given to a court in Michigan. Dr Larry Nassar is due to be sentenced shortly, accused of abusing more than 140 women, many of them very well known figures in the world of gymnastics.

He has already been sentenced to 60 years for possessing multiple images of child abuse, and his offences against the gymnasts are thought to have spanned decades. A warning: this report contains testimony you may find upsetting from the outset.
