Teachers in England and Wales overwhelmingly vote to go on strike

Teachers in England and Wales have voted in favour of strikes, joining a growing list of other public sector workers who are walking out over pay.

Nine out of ten National Education Union members voted in favour of  the action, which will affect 23,000 schools.
