Talks ongoing to lift siege of Douma

Fighters have begun leaving the last rebel held town in the besieged Syrian enclave of eastern Ghouta, where a hundred thousand civilians remain trapped.

Talks are still going on to lift the siege around Douma, which is encircled by Syrian government forces and has been a center of resistance against Assad’s regime since the uprising began.
