More than 7 million people have been affected by Sandy, and many of them have taken to YouTube share their video experiences.

Superstorm Sandy - through the eyes of YouTube

As you might expect, many people have uploaded their videos of Sandy and its aftermath to YouTube – from shots of trees crushing cars, to one intrepid explorer jet-skiing down a newly created river on a road.

Channel 4 News has collected some of the videos here. If you have any to share, tweet us at @channel4news and let us know.

Google has also worked with Storyful to plot the videos on a crisis map of the east coast, allowing you to see the progression of the storm across the eastern seaboard.
