Suella Braverman expresses “full backing” for Met ahead of pro-Palestine protests

The Home Secretary Suella Braverman has expressed her “full backing” for the police at a meeting with the Met police chief Sir Mark Rowley – amid the growing row over her article in the Times which criticised the policing of pro-Palestinian protests.

Two thousand officers will be deployed for tomorrow’s planned march – which coincides with Armistice Day, while Scotland Yard said they were doing “everything” in their power to ensure the safety of Jewish communities.
