Sturgeon calls on SNP MP to resign for flouting Covid rules

Despite a furious response from colleagues and a request from Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to resign, the MP Margaret Ferrier this evening remains in her post.

She hasn’t made any further comment since she apologised yesterday for travelling to and from parliament while infected with coronavirus. A police investigation into the incident is now underway.
