Speed up Post Office compensation payments, MPs demand

A committee of MPs have said compensation payments to victims of the Post Office IT scandal must be sped up.

A group of over 500 former workers won a high court battle against the Post Office in 2019, but much of their settlements were spent on legal fees and now many are unable to access the government’s compensation scheme.
