Scotland’s wedding industry reopens

Running away to get married in Gretna Green may conjure up images of love and romance.

But in hard cash it’s part of a wedding industry reportedly worth one and a half billion pounds to the Scottish economy.

Thousands of couples flock there every year to tie the knot.

But like many industries covid has hit it hard, with weddings cancelled and many jobs lost.
