Scientists probe possible DNA link to ‘Long Covid’

“A rollercoaster of symptoms that move around the body” – that’s how the National Institute for Health Research has described long-lasting effects of coronavirus in a report today.

So-called ‘Long Covid’, describing symptoms lasting three weeks or more, can range from organ damage to post viral fatigue.
