Saudi women’s rights activist released from prison after almost 3 years

The prominent Saudi women’s rights activist Loujain Al-Hathloul has been freed after more than 1,000 days in prison.

Ms Al-Hathloul was sentenced to six years in 2018 after campaigning for women to be able to drive.
