Republican senators criticise Trump after he mocks Kavanaugh accuser

Three Republican senators have now criticised President Trump’s speech mocking a woman who’s accused his Supreme Court nominee of sexual assault.

Their votes could be critical when the Senate votes on whether to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh, expected to take place later this week, as soon as the FBI has completed its background check into accusations of sexual misconduct by Mr Kavanaugh during his high school and college days.
