Racial inequality commission ‘brought in to deflect from lack of action from government’ – Labour MP Abena Oppong-Asare

We invited the Equalities Minister on to the programme to discuss Boris Johnson announcement of a new commission to tackle racial inequality – but were told she was not available.

But we were joined by Labour MP Abena Oppong-Asare and Calvin Robinson, who is a Conservative activist who stood unsuccessfully as a Brexit Party candidate in last year’s general election.
