Public at ‘increased risk’ as officers forced to work alone, says Police Federation

Rank and file police officers in England and Wales say that rising workloads and shrinking budgets mean they are increasingly being obliged to work alone, putting themselves and the public at potential risk. And nearly two thirds of officers surveyed said they had suffered a traumatic experience in the last 12 months.
