Prosecution case against Trump starts in impeachment trial

The annual Davos schmoozefest is a little quieter after President Trump left the scene this lunchtime.  As might be expected he declared his visit a great success, but he leaves behind a global establishment disappointed by his rhetoric on climate change and in no doubt that America comes first .  And he’s flying back to rancour and recriminations in Washington where the prosecution case against him starts today in his impeachment trial.
