Pressure on BBC Chairman to resign as report finds ‘significant errors of judgement’

The BBC chairman, Richard Sharp, is facing further calls to resign, after he was found to have made “significant errors of judgement”  according to a damning report by MPs investigating his appointment.

The cross-party committee criticised Mr Sharp over his role as a go-between for a loan guarantee to Boris Johnson, while he had been applying for the BBC job.
