President Zelenskyy visits US in first foreign trip since invasion

Yesterday he was at the hottest point of the Ukrainian front line in Bakhmut. Tonight President Zelenskyy is in Washington DC on his first trip out of Ukraine since Russia’s full scale invasion began.

He’s meeting President Biden at the White House, before speaking to a special joint session of Congress, appealing for yet more powerful military help against Russia’s aggression.
