Pompeo’s visit to UK after it agreed to exclude Huawei from 5G

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was in London today with Chinese rather than Russian interference at the top of his agenda.

He congratulated Boris Johnson on banning the Chinese firm Huawei from the UK’s future 5G phone network.

Mr Pompeo accused China of covering up the coronavirus outbreak, of bullying India in the Himalayas, of making illegal territorial claims at sea.

And he called for a global coalition against the Communist state.
