Pompeo confident UK and US can bury differences over Huawei

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said he’s very confident that Britain and the United States can get over their differences about the involvement of the Chinese tech giant Huawei in building the UK’s 5G network, insisting the row would not derail the ‘special relationship’.

Mr Pompeo has been holding talks with Boris Johnson in Downing Street.
