Police superintendent guilty of possessing child abuse video

She had a stellar career, but now it could all be in tatters.

One of the country’s most senior black police officers has been sentenced to 200 hours community service for possessing a child abuse video on her phone.

Superintendent Robyn Williams had been sent the footage by her sister. Her sister appears to have sent the message out of outrage and in search of justice, saying: “Sorry, had to send this. It’s so sad this person would put this out. Please post this and let’s hope he gets life.”

All three of them have ended up on the sex offenders register as a result.
