P&O Ferries: Criminal investigation launched following staff sackings

Criminal and civil investigations have been launched into the decision by P&O Ferries to sack almost 800 workers without giving notice or consulting with trade unions.

The company’s boss Peter Hebblethwaite admitted the firm had broken the law last week.
