Phased return for Scottish schoolchildren starts

Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, says their route out of lockdown will be “broadly similar” to England, but with some differences – primary school pupils aged between four and eight started returning to their classrooms today, as part of a phased return to school.

Wales has gone for a similar approach, in marked contrast to England’s decision to allow all students back at once on March 8.
