Pennsylvania Trump’s last real hope of a second term

If there is a state Donald Trump cannot lose, it’s Pennsylvania.

But his overnight lead is ebbing away, as the count reveals that more and more of the state’s 2.5 million absentee ballots are falling overwhelmingly to Joe Biden.

If the former vice president wins here, it is basically game over – the presidency is in the bag.

Little wonder, perhaps, that Mr Trump has been taking to Twitter with the all-caps demand “STOP THE COUNT” and later “STOP THE FRAUD”.

But the counting continues.
