The former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan has been sentenced to 14 years in jail, after he and his wife were accused of receiving plots of land as a bribe.
Mr Khan has spent the last 18 months in prison – facing more than a hundred legal cases – all of which he says are politically motivated.
The former cricketer was ousted in 2022 after falling out with the country’s powerful military, but remains Pakistan’s most popular political figure.
