Office of National Statistics planning to publish figures on homeless deaths

We speak to Ben Humberstone, Head of Health Analysis at the Office for National Statistics, and ask him how soon they would be able to gather data on deaths across the homeless population in the UK.

We also discuss the impact of the Bureau of Investigative Journalism’s findings and the wider consequences with Matt Downie, policy director for Crisis, and David Tovey, who used to be homeless and is a campaigner and founder of the One Festival of Homeless Arts.
