Northern Ireland first part of UK to release contact tracing app

Data Correspondent and Presenter

Northern Ireland has become the first part of the UK to release a coronavirus contact tracing app, which has been downloaded by more than 91,000 people since it went live.

Northern Ireland’s health minister told residents that downloading it “could be the most important thing you do all year” by helping to identify those most at risk of becoming infected.
