Nicola Bulley: Family calls for end of ‘appalling speculation’ about private life

The family of the missing woman Nicola Bulley have called for an end to what they described as the “appalling speculation and rumours” about her private life.

Lancashire Police have now referred themselves to the police watchdog over contact they had with Ms Bulley before her disappearance.

She was last seen on 27 January after taking her dog for a walk along the River Wyre.
