NHS to save money after ruling against drug companies

The NHS has won a landmark legal battle against the pharmaceutical industry, meaning patients with the most common form of sight loss could receive a cheaper drug.

Drug companies Novartis and Bayer were trying to stop NHS doctors prescribing cheaper treatment for a serious eye condition called wet age-related macular degeneration.
