Where are best and worst hospital wards in England?
It has been hailed as a flagship government policy designed to shine the spotlight on poor care – Channel 4 News maps the hospitals which have come top and bottom of the “friends and family test”.
The “friends and family test” asks patients whether or not they would recommend the hospital where they were treated to their loved ones.
Of 4,500 wards across England, patients who were treated in 36 wards would be unhappy to send their loved ones to receive the same care.
Channel 4 News has mapped the worst 36 hospital wards along with the best 36 hospital wards (although other wards also scored 100 per cent).
