New York gay community suffering from past stigmas during virus outbreak

In America, President Donald Trump claims he has seen evidence that Covid-19 originated in a lab in China. Yet his own intelligence services say they are still looking into where the virus came from.

In New York City, the epicentre of the US outbreak, more than 12,000 people have died.

And in a city ravaged by the Aids epidemic in the 1980s and 1990s, people from the LGBTQ community still find themselves suffering from the stigmas of the past.
