Netanyahu urges Raab to change stance on Iran sanctions

The Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab was in Israel today, hearing sharp words from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has described the UK’s support for the nuclear deal with Iran as ‘outrageous’ and ‘absurd’.

Mr Raab is hoping to persuade Israelis and Palestinians to resume peace talks. But both sides seem to have other priorities – including an outbreak of Covid-19 inside the Gaza strip.
