Netanyahu urges PM Johnson to end Iran talks over saving nuclear deal

There was some respite from the Brexit spotlight for Boris Johnson today, in the shape of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. His surprise visit came after Iran announced it was to start work on speeding up uranium enrichment – a violation of the rapidly-crumbling 2015 nuclear deal.

A French plan to save the deal is on the table, but today Mr Netanyahu urged Mr Johnson not to support it.
