Neil Kenlock: the political struggles of Britain’s black community

Neil Kenlock co-founded the UK’s first legal radio station devoted to black music and spent decades capturing images of the black British experience.

Now an exhibition of his work has opened in Brixton, south London. It’s a unique insight into two formative decades, from the struggle against racism and the British Black Panther movement, to the pioneers of the Caribbean community here.
