Mother launches campaign to speed up Covid booster jabs for people with learning disabilities

Special Correspondent and Presenter

A woman has launched a campaign to speed up the fourth Covid booster jab for people with learning disabilities.

Nicky Clark says her daughter Emily, who receives 24 hour care, hasn’t been able to get a vaccine since last November – even though a report has revealed that people with learning disabilities are at greater risk of dying from Covid.

The Government says people on the learning disabilities register will be eligible for a booster this autumn.
