More ambulance worker and rail strikes as fares to going up nearly 6%

As ambulance workers announce more walkouts next month, health chiefs in England have warned that the NHS is facing an “incredibly long list of serious challenges” this Christmas, following yesterday’s ambulance workers strike.

On top of that, more train strikes loom and fares are going up by almost 6 percent next year, the biggest rise for over a decade.
